How to delete from the app

1. Open the account section in the Coachalyst app settings. 2. Choose "Delete my account" and confirm the displayed process. 3. The process provides a 30-day cancellation period. 4. After that period, the automated deletion job initiates permanent deletion.

To exercise an erasure right under Art. 17 GDPR, or if you cannot complete the process in the app, contact privacy@coachalyst.com. The cancellation period does not restrict your statutory rights.

How to delete via the web

1. Sign in at coachalyst.com. 2. Go to Settings → Account. 3. Click "Delete my account" and follow the same confirmation flow described above.

If you cannot access your account (for example, you lost your credentials and cannot recover them), email privacy@coachalyst.com from the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and delete the account on your behalf.

What is deleted

Account deletion concerns, in particular, your profile, private training, nutrition and health data, private media and communications associated with your account. Media erasure is handled through separate deletion jobs.

Any exceptional continued processing based on statutory obligations or other appropriate legal bases must be assessed separately. Section 4 and Terms section 9 also apply to public contributions.

Account deletion and termination of a contract are different processes. Check cancellation of your subscription with the relevant contracting party or app store; uninstalling the app alone does not terminate a contract.

What we must retain (and why)

Statutory retention requirements may prevent immediate erasure of particular invoice or tax records. Security or abuse-prevention data may be retained only where there is an appropriate legal basis. Such exceptions do not justify retaining the entire account.

Factual information from community contributions may remain in the catalogue. Personal data within a contribution or image must be assessed separately. Removing a name and account identifier does not necessarily anonymise the content. Statutory rights to erasure and rectification remain applicable; a content licence does not override them. See Terms section 9.

Backups are subject to a separate deletion policy. Actual retention periods and the treatment of restored backups must be specified before publication.

Deletion and grace period timeline

• Request: you request account deletion.
• The following 30 days: cancellation period for the process offered in the app.
• After that period: the automated deletion job initiates permanent cleanup. Media are handled through separate deletion jobs.
• Backups: removal follows the separate backup deletion policy. We do not claim that every backup is already erased when the cancellation period ends.

Statutory exceptions and your rights are described in section 4 and the Privacy Policy. A cancellation period does not restrict a valid statutory erasure right.

Email privacy@coachalyst.com. We respond within 5 business days. If you are unable to complete deletion via the app or website, we will delete your account manually after verifying your identity.
